The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead our Accounts Department. This pivotal role requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership abilities and extensive accounting expertise. As a Senior Manager, you will oversee the accounts team, drive operational efficiency, and ensure the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the accounts team, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance and professional development.
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll, tax returns, and VAT returns for clients.
- Foster strong client relationships by providing strategic financial advice and addressing complex queries.
- Implement and maintain robust accounting systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports for senior management.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and support for overall business objectives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve services.
- Participate in business development initiatives to attract new clients and expand service offerings.
Experience & Qualifications:
- A recognized accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proven experience in leading and developing a high-performing team.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
