Salary Range: £40,000 – £50,000 per annum
Qualification: ATT (Association of Taxation Technicians) Qualified
Role Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Tax Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients, collaborate closely with our Tax Partner on various tax planning initiatives, and support the growth and development of junior tax staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Portfolio Management: Oversee a varied portfolio of personal tax clients, including company directors, high-net-worth individuals, non-resident landlords, sole traders, and basic trusts and estate tax returns.
- Tax Planning Assistance: Work with the Tax Partner on ad hoc tax planning projects.
- Team Support: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior tax staff as the firm expands.
- Client Interaction: Engage directly with clients, ensuring high levels of service and effective communication.
- Autonomous Work: Take full ownership of your workload and responsibilities while working independently.
- Flexible Work Environment: Adapt to a flexible working culture, including options for remote work.
Requirements:
- Minimum ATT qualification.
- Self-starter with strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage responsibilities effectively while working independently.
- Willingness to mentor and support junior team members.
- Excellent client-facing skills.
- 3+ years of experience in a practice environment.
