Position: Nursery Practitioner
Location: Southall
Salary: £24,000 – £28,000 per annum
Requirements: Level 3 CACHE qualification in Childcare and Education

Job Overview

We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team in Southall. This role is suited for a Level 3 CACHE-qualified professional who is passionate about fostering a positive, safe, and educational environment for young children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Child Development: Deliver high-quality care and learning experiences in line with EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) standards.
  • Activity Planning: Design and carry out engaging and developmentally appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
  • Progress Monitoring: Observe and document children’s development, tailoring learning plans to support each child’s individual growth.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure the environment is safe, clean, and supportive, adhering to health and safety policies at all times.
  • Parent Communication: Maintain positive relationships with parents, providing updates on children’s progress and addressing any concerns.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to create a supportive, harmonious environment for staff and children alike.

Requirements

  • Qualification: Level 3 CACHE in Childcare and Education (or equivalent).
  • Experience: Prior experience in an early years or nursery setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of EYFS standards and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills with a patient, caring approach.
  • Organizational Abilities: Skilled in multitasking and organizing daily activities efficiently.
  • Safeguarding Awareness: A thorough understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
