Position: Nursery Practitioner
Location: Enfield
Salary: £24,000 – £28,000 per annum
Requirements: Level 3 CACHE qualification in Childcare and Education

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Nursery Practitioner to join our team in Enfield. This role is ideal for a qualified childcare professional with a Level 3 CACHE certification, who is passionate about creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for young children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Childcare and Development: Provide high-quality care and educational experiences to children in line with EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) guidelines.
  • Planning and Activities: Plan and implement fun, stimulating, and age-appropriate activities to encourage development in social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills.
  • Observation and Assessment: Monitor and document children’s progress, identifying individual needs and preparing learning plans to support growth and development.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment, adhering to all health and safety standards and policies.
  • Parental Engagement: Build positive relationships with parents, providing them with updates on their child’s progress and addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other team members to create a supportive and cohesive environment for both staff and children.

Requirements

  • Qualification: Level 3 CACHE qualification in Childcare and Education (or equivalent).
  • Experience: Previous experience working in an early years or nursery setting is desirable.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with EYFS standards and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a caring and patient approach to young children.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, organize activities, and manage time efficiently.
  • Safeguarding: A solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
